Storage Locations
Cubeitz automatically detects the storage locations available to you. The Local drive is listed by default.
If you have a fully licensed product Cubeitz allows you to encrypt data and store it in other locations. Cubeitz automatically detects and configures storage with iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, One Drive and Office 365. You can manually configure storage with other 3rd party cloud providers that sync from your computer.
Cubeitz also detects external memory devices so you can store your data securely on USB’s or hard drives.
You can also create your own locations or map to an existing location.
Custom location: Define your own location to store your encrypted data. This could be a file locally on your computer which syncs with an external application or a location on a server within a network.
Right-click in the Data Sources panel or select Data Sources in the Main Menu.
Click ‘Add’ and navigate your way to the Folder you want to add as a Data Source > select > click the Add button > Rename the new Data Source by clicking on its name in the new Data Source window.
Click below the hi-lighted location to see the name change in the Data Source area. The new Data Location is now listed as a storage location.
Create a Cube
We call folders Cubes. If you prefer folders that’s fine you can create folders as well. Cubes can be personalised with images to make them easily identifiable. You can create cubes within cubes within cubes for organising your data.
Click the New Cube icon or File > New Cube in the Main Menu or right-click in the cube storage area > Add Cube. The window below opens – give your cube a name and add a picture:

You can either create a library of images:
Drag images from your computer or straight from your browser onto the left-hand panel to create a library of images.
Or
Drag and image straight onto the cube in the right-hand panel to personalise the cube.
You can even drag images straight from your web browser onto the right-hand panel.
Click 3D/2D to display a 3D cube or 2D image.
